Solubilization of potassium containing minerals by high temperature resistant Streptomyces sp. isolated from earthworm's gut

摘要 ApotassiumsolubilizingbacterialstraindesignatedEGT,whichistolerantofhightemperature,wasisolatedfromanearthworm’sguttoobtainabacteriumthatcanweatherpotassium-bearingrockeffectivelythroughsolid-statefermentation.Molecularphylogenyand16SrRNAgenesequenceanalysisdemonstratedthebacterialstrainwasamemberoftheStreptomycesgenus.Toassessitspotentialtoreleasepotassiumfromsilicateminerals,thisstrainwasusedtodegradepotassium-bearingrockpowderbysolid-statefermentation.Afterfermentation,theamountofwater-solubleAl,FeandKofthesubstratewithactiveinoculumwashigherthanthoseofthecontrol,whichhadautoclavedinoculum,andthoseofthefreshsubstrate.Theresultindicatedthatthestrainhadtheabilitytoweatherpotassium-bearingrockandcouldbeusedasaninoculumintheproductionofpotassiumbio-fertilizer,duetoitspotassiumreleaseactivityfromrockandtolerancetohightemperature.
