摘要
Thestress-inducedmagneticdomainswitchinginFeGathinfilmsisstudiedusingphase-fieldmethod.Inparticular,themagneticfieldisappliedalongthe[110]directionandbiaxialstressesareappliedalong[100]and[010].Acompressivepre-stresscorrespondstoasmallercoercivemagneticfieldwhileatensilepre-stresscorrespondedtoalargercoercivefield.Atthesametime,itisalsofoundthatthetransitionbetweenbutterflyandsquare-likemagnetostrictionloopsoccursatthecriticaloppositebiaxialstressstate.Thetwodifferentevolutionscorrespondtotwodifferentmechanisms:oneisthatthesingledomainswingsacrossafanareabackandforth;theotheristhatthesingledomainturnsaclockwisecircle.Theresultscanbeexplainedbythestresstunedanisotropyenergywell.
