摘要
ThecombustionreactivityofricehuskfromNewSouthWales,ustraliawasmeasuredbyheatingcubicalbasketsincontrolledenvironmentandmonitoringthecentretemperature.Frank-Kamenetskii'signitiontheorywasusedtocalculatetheactivationenergy,Resultsagreedwellwithtestsonothercellulosicmaterials,Numericalsimulationsoftemperaturechangeswerecarriedout,usingaspecialtechniquetodealwithnon-linearitiesintheheatconductionequation.ThenumericalResultsindicatethatthetimefactorshouldbetakenintoaccountwhenevaluatingself-combustionrisks.
