Probing the fractional topological charge of a vortex light beam by using dynamic angular double slits

摘要 Vortexbeamswithfractionaltopologicalcharge(FTC)havemanyspecialcharacteristicsandnovelapplications.However,oneoftheobstaclesfortheirapplicationisthedifficultyofpreciselydeterminingtheFTCoffractionalvortexbeams.WefindthatwhenavortexbeamwithanFTCilluminatesadynamicangulardoubleslit(ADS),thefar-fieldinterferencepatternsthatincludetheinformationoftheFTCofthebeamattheangularbisectordirectionoftheADSvaryperiodically.Basedonthisproperty,asimpledynamicADSdeviceanddatafittingmethodcanbeusedtopreciselymeasuretheFTCofavortexlightbeamwithanerroroflessthan5%.
