摘要 Azurins,awildtypeandageneticallymutantK27alteredone,wereimmobilizedonannealedgoldsurfaceandinvestigatedbymeansofatomicforcemicroscopy.Itwasfoundthatthesurfacecoverageandheightdistributionoftheadsorbedproteinmoleculesaredifferentfromeachother,whichispossiblytheresultofthedifferentorientationonthesurface.Itisbelievedthatthewildtypeazurinisconnectedtogoldsurfacebythedisulphidebridge;whilethemutant,K27C,mightbethroughthethiolgroupsofthecysteineresiduesontheirsurface.
