摘要
Theeffectofthespatialcharacteristicsofantennaarrayonsmartantennasystemscannotbeneglected.Inthepaper,therelationbetweenspatialcorrelationandinter-antennadistance,impingingangle,anglespreadisfirstinvestigated.Withthesamebeamformingalgorithm,wesimulatetheperformanceofsmartantennasystemwithdifferentAngleSpread(AS)valuesontheconditionsofidealandrealAngleofArrival(AOA)estimation.TheresultsshowthatwiththeidealAOAestimation,theAOAisenoughaccuratetoguaranteethatthesystemonlyhaslittleperformancedegradationeveninthecaseof20degreeeASvaluewhiletherealAOAestimationinfluencedbychannelenvironmentdegradestheperformanceveryobviously,uptoabout7dB.
