摘要
Acomputationalinvestigationwasperformedtopredicttheeffectsofaerodynamicperformancedegradationonaircraftswepttaperwingwithandwithout10minutesand22.5minutesglazeiceaccretions.Inthisstudy,thethree-dimensionalsimulatedglazeiceshapesweredefinedfromaseriesoftwo-dimensionalicesections.TheaerodynamicperformancesofglazeicedsweptwingswithC-Hstructuremulti-blockgridwereanalyzedandevaluated.ThesteadyReynolds-AveragedNavier-Stokes(RANS)equationsareemployedtocomputesolutionswithimplementationoftwoequationShear-StressTransport(SST)turbulencemodelandsecond-orderupwinddifferencingforentireicedwingflowfield.Computedresultswerecomparedwithavailableexperimentaldata.TheCFDcomputationcanalsoaccuratelypredicttheaerodynamicperformancedegradationoflift,dragandpressurecoefficientsoffinitesweptwingwithglazeiceaccretionswhichhavetwobigupperandlowerhorn.
