摘要
Equivalentsourcelayer(ESL)imagingisanimportantkindofhigh-resolutionelectroencephalogram(EEG)imaging.Itconsistsoftwocategories:equivalentdipolelayer(EDL)andequivalentchargelayer(ECL).Bothofthemareassumedtobelocatedonornearthecorticalsurfaceandhavebeenproposedashigh-resolutionimagingmodalitiesorasintermediatestepstoestimatetheepicorticalpotential.Here,EDLandECLbasedonarealisticheadmodelarepresented,bothsimulationsandrealdataexperimentaredonetocomparethesetwomodels.TheresultsshowthatECLcanprovidehigherspatialresolutionaboutsourcelocationthanEDLdoes.
