摘要
ThecoreissueforChinatransitiondevelopmentinthenext30yearsistoshiftfromthequantitygrowthmodeltothequalityimprovementmodel.Thepaperintroducestheresearchprogressinthreekeyareasofsustainabledevelopmentstudiessincethe1990s.Itispointedoutthatthereisawell-beingthresh-oldatwhichthemarginutilityofeconomicgrowthforhumanwell-beingwilldecline,thatthereisanecologicallimitbeyondwhichmoreeconomicgrowthintermsofphysicalscalewillbeimpossible,andthatthecreationofhumanwell-beingisrelatednotonlytotheamountbutalsotothestructureandefficiencyofpublicexpenditurefromgovernment.Afteranin-depthdiscussiononfacts,originsandpolicyimplicationsofeachissue,sometheoryandpolicythinkingwithlong-lastingsignificanceareraisedforthetransitiondevelopmentofChina.
