MODELING AND DYNAMICS ANALYSIS OF SHELLS OF REVOLUTION BY PARTIALLY ACTIVE CONSTRAINED LAYER DAMPING TREATMENT

摘要 Anewmodelforasmartshellofrevolutiontreatedwithactiveconstrainedlayerdamping(ACLD)isdeveloped,andthedampingefectsoftheACLDtreatmentarediscussed.Themotionandelectricanalyticalformulationofthepiezoelectricconstrainedlayerarepresentedfirst.Basedontheauthors’recentresearchonshellsofrevolutiontreatedwithpassiveconstrainedlayerdamping(PCLD),theintegratedfirst-orderdiferentialmatrixequationofashellofrevolutionpartiallytreatedwithringACLDblocksisderivedinthefrequencydomain.Byvirtueoftheextendedhomogeneouscapacityprecisionintegrationtechnology,astableandsimplenumericalmethodisfurtherproposedtosolvetheaboveequation.Then,thevibrationresponsesofanACLDshellofrevolutionaremeasuredbyusingthepresentmodelandmethod.TheresultsshowthatthecontrolperformanceoftheACLDtreatmentiscomplicatedandfrequency-dependent.Inacertainfrequencyrange,theACLDtreatmentcanachievebetterdampingcharacteristicscomparedwiththeconventionalPCLDtreatment.
