Progressive iterative channel estimation in fast time-varying OFDM systems

摘要 Consideringthejointchannelestimationanddatadetectionintime-varyingorthogonalfrequencydivisionmultiplexing(OFDM)andaddressingtransmissionperformancedegradationinducedbythesevereinter-carrierinterference(ICI)atveryhighspeed,anewprogressiveiterativechannelestimationschemeisproposed.ToalleviatetheerrorpropagationoftheinaccuratedataduetoICI,themeasurementsubcarriersintheKalmanfilterisdesignedtobeextendedfrompilotssubcarrierstoallthesubcarriersprogressivelythroughtheiterations.Furthermore,initerationprocess,theinterferenceofthenon-pilotdatatothemeasurementsubcarriersisconsideredtobepartofnoiseinthemodifiedKalmanfilter,whichimprovestheestimationaccuracy.Simulationindicatesthattheproposedschemeimprovestheperformanceinfasttime-varyingsituation.
