A new approach to spatial source apportionment of haze pollution in large scale and its application in China

摘要 Long-lastingexpansionofhazepollutioninChinahasalreadypresentedasternchallengetoregionaljointpreventionandcontrol.Thereisanurgentneedtoenlargeandreconstructthecoverageofjointpreventionandcontrolofairpollutioninkeyarea.Airqualitymodelscanidentifyandquantifytheregionalcontributionofhazepollutionanditskeycomponentswiththehelpofnumericalsimulation,butitisdifficulttobeappliedtolargerspatialscaleduetothecomplexityofmodelparameters.Thetimeseriesanalysiscanrecognizetheexistenceofspatialinteractionofhazepollutionbetweencities,butithasnotyetbeenusedtofurtheridentifythespatialsourcesofhazepollutioninlargescale.Usingeconometricframeworkoftimeseriesanalysis,thispaperdevelopedanewapproachtoperformspatialsourceapportionment.WeappliedthisapproachtocalculatethecontributionfromspatialsourcesofhazepollutioninChina,usingthemonitoringdataofparticulatematter(PM2.5)across161Chinesecities.Thisapproachovercamethelimitationofnumericalsimulationthatthemodelcomplexityincreasesatexcesswiththeexpansionofsamplerange,andcouldeffectivelydealwithseverelarge-scalehazeepisodes.
