摘要
TheworkisageneralsurveyusingSSTAdataoftheIndianOceanandofprecipitationat160Chineseweatherstationsover1951~1997(47years).ItrevealsthatthedipoleoscillationofSST,especiallythedipoleindexofMarch~May,intheeasternandwesternpartsoftheoceancorrelateswellwiththeprecipitationduringtheJune~AugustrainingseasoninChina.Asshowninanalysisof500-hPaNorthernHemispheregeopotentialheightheightbyNCEPfor1958~1995,theIndianOceandipoleindex(IODI)iscloselyrelatedwithgeopotentialheightanomaliesinthemiddle-andhigher-latitudesintheEurasianregion.AsanegativephaseyearofIODIcorrespondstosignificantPacific-Japan(PJ)wavetrain,itishighlylikelythattheSSTforthedipolemayaffecttheprecipitationinChinathroughthewavetrain.Additionally,correlationanalysisoflinksbetweenSSTdipoleindexoftheIndianOceanregionandairtemperatureinChinaalsoshowsgoodcorrelationbetweentheformerandwintertimetemperatureinsouthernChina.
