Application of GIS to Estimate Soil Erosion Using RUSLE-中国期刊网

摘要 ThispaperdescribestheuseoftheArc/InfoandArcViewGIStoolstoestimatesoilerosionwithUniversalSoilLossEquation(USLE).Calculationsarebedonebyusingcapabilitiesavailable.Thisstudystartwithadigitalelevationmodel(DEM)ofShaanxi,whichwascreatedbydigitizingcontourandspotheightsfromthetopographicmapon1∶250000scaleandgridthemesfortheUSLEKandCfactors.ItisnoteworthythatUSLEKcanbeobtainedbyaddingtheKfactorasanattributetoasoiltheme'stable.TheCcanbeobtainedfromtablesorusingtheinformationaboutlanduseandmanagementgivenbyUSLEprogram.AlandusethemecanbeusedtoaddtheCfactorsasanattributefield.ThepurposeofthisstudyistoestablishspatialinformationofsoilerosionusingUSLEandGISanddiscusstheanalysisofthesoilerosionandslopefailuresinGISandformulatethepossibleframework.
