Genetic-optimization framework for SVC transmission based on partial cooperative communication

摘要 Agenetic-optimizationframeworkbasedonthepartialcooperationcommunicationprotocolisproposedforscalablevideocoding(SVC)streamtransmissionundermulti-relayamplifyandforwardcooperativenetworks.Unliketraditionalcooperativetransmissionschemes,thetransmissionmodeforeachcodedunitinthisnewprotocolcanbeswitchedflexiblybetweendirecttransmissionandcooperativetransmission.Obviously,underthisprotocol,thebandwidthefficiencyandtransmissionrobustnesscanbebalancedadaptivelyaccordingtotheprioritylevelofcodedunitsandwirelesschannelfadingcharacteristics.Basedonthis,awell-knowngeneticoptimizationalgorithm-differentialevolutionisexploitedheretofindthejointlyoptimaltransmissionmodes,powerallocationandunequalerrorprotection(UEP)channelcodingstrategiestominimizetheendtoendreconstructedvideodistortion.Extensivesimulationresultsshowthat,comparedwithclassicaloptimalcooperativeUEPtransmissionschemes,theproposedoptimizedtransmissionframeworkbasedonthepartialcooperativeprotocolcanbringsignificantpeak-signal-to-noise-ratio(PSNR)gainsforthereconstructedvideoinavarietyofchannelbandwidth,powerbudgetandtestsequences.
