Failure Envelopes of Wide-Shallow Composite Bucket Foundation for Off shore Wind Turbines in Silty Sand

摘要 Thewide-shallowcompositebucketfoundation(WSCBF)isanewtypeofoffshorewindpowerfoundationthatcanbebuiltonlandandrapidlyinstalledoffshore,therebyeffectivelyreducingtheconstructiontimeandcostsofoffshorewindpowerfoundation.Inthisstudy,thehorizontalbearingcapacityiscalculatedbyfiniteelementsimulationandcomparedwithtestresultstoverifythevalidityofresults.Inthisprocess,theverticalloadandbendingloadarerespectivelycalculatedbythefiniteelementsimulation.Undertheverticalloadeffect,thebucketfoundationandthesoilinsideareregardedasawhole,andthecorrespondingbucklingfailuremodeisobtained.Theultimateverticalbearingcapacityiscalculatedusingempiricalandtheoreticalformulas;thetheoreticalformulaisalsorevisedbyfiniteelementresults.Underbendingload,therotationalcenterofthecompositebucketfoundation(inaregionclosetothebucketbottom)graduallymovesfromtheleftofthecentralaxis(reversetoloadingdirection)tothenearbycompartmentboardsalongtheloadingdirection.TheH–Menvelopelineshowsalinearrelationship,anditisdeterminedthattheverticalandbendingultimatebearingcapacitiescanbeimprovedbyanappropriateverticalload.
