Cooperativeprincipleandpolitenessprincipleenjoygreatsignificanceinpragmaticfield.ViatheanalysisofcertainexamplesextractedfromBusinessEnglishcourse-book,thispaperaimstostudytheobservanceofcooperativeprincipleandpolitenessprinciple.TheconclusionisreachedthattheapplicationofCPandPPinpedagogicalpracticecouldbenefitstudents’languageapplication.Meanwhile,thispaperalsoaimstoprovethatcooperationandpolitenessareakeyfactorincommunicationthroughwhichteacherscouldimprovestudents’languagecompetence.
