Amphibole—Bearing Peridotite Xenoliths from Nushan,Anhui Province:Evidence for Melt Percolation Process in the Upper mantle and Lithospheric uplift

摘要 ThespinelperidotitexenolithsofGroupIinQuaternarybasanitesfromNushan,Anhuiprovince,canbeclassifiedastwosuites:ahydroussuitecharacterizedbytheubiquitousoccurrenceof(Ti-)pargasiteandananhydroussuite.Thenineralchemistryrevealsthattheanhydroussuiteandoneassociatedphlogopite-bearinglherzoliteareequilibratedundertemperatureconditionsof1000-1100℃,whereasamplhibole-bearingperidotitesdisplaydistinctdisequilibrumfeatures,indicatingpartialreequilibrationfrom1050to850℃andlocallydownto750℃.Theamplhbole-bearingperidotiteswereprobablytheuppermostpartofthehightemperatureanhydroussuitewhichwasmodallymodifedbyfractionatingH2O-richmetasomaticagentduringregionalupwelling.Thisrelativelyrecentlithosphericuplifteventfollowedanolderuplifteventrecognizedfrompyroxeneunmixingofdomainsinlocalequilibrium,aswellasthedominantdeformationtextureintheanhydroussuite.ThefirstthermaldisturbancecanbelinkedwiththeregionalextensionandwidespreadbasalticvolcanisminJiangsu-AnhuiprovincessinceEarlyTertiaryandtheformationofthenearbySubei(NorthJiangsu)fault-depressionbasinduringtheEocene,whilethesecondeventinassociationwiththeformationofamphibolesprobablyindicatesthecontinuationbutdiminutionofupwaredmantlefluxsinceNeogeneinresponsetothechangeintectonicregimeforeasternchina.
