摘要 LetGbeanonabelianfinitegroup.ThenIrr(G/G′)isanabeliangroupunderthemultiplicationofcharactersandactsonthesetofnon-linearirreduciblecharactersofGviathemultiplicationofcharacters.Thepurposeofthispaperistoestablishsomefactsabouttheactionoflinearcharactergrouponnon-linearirreduciblecharactersanddeterminethestructuresofgroupsGforwhicheitheralltheorbitkernelsaretrivialorthenumberoforbitsisatmosttwo.Usingtheestablishedresultsonthisaction,itisveryeasytoclassifygroupsGhavingatmostthreenomlinearirreduciblecharacters.
