NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF TURBULENT SPOTS IN INCLINED OPENCHANNEL FLOW

摘要 Thegenerationandevolutionofturbulentspotsintheopen-channelflowaresimulatednumericallybyusingtheNavier-Stokesequations.Aneffectivenumericalmethodwithhighaccuracyandhighresolutionisdeveloped.Thefourth-ordertimesplittingmethodswithhighaccuracyisproposed.Three-dimensionalcouplingdifferencemethodsarepresentedforthespatialdiscretizationofthePoissonequationofpressureandHemholtzequationsofvelocity,therefore,thefourth-orderthree-dimensionalcouplingcentraldifferenceschemesareconstituted.Thefourth-orderexplicitupwind-biasedcompactdifferenceschemesaredesignedtoovercomethedifficultyforthegeneralhigher-ordercentraldifferenceschemewhichisinadaptableintheboundaryneighborhood.Theiterativealgorithmandoveralltimemarchingisusedtoenhanceefficiency.Themethodisappliedinthenumericalsimulationofturbulentspotsatvariouscomplexboundaryconditionsandflowdomains.Thegenerationandthedevelopingprocessofturbulentspotsaregiven,andthebasiccharacteristicsofturbulentspotsareshownbysimulatingtheevolutionofthewallpulseininclinedopen-channelflow.
