Adesulphurizationretrofitprojectwhichadoptedapatenttechnologywithindependentpropertyrights,DatangInternationalDouhePowerPlant'sUnitNo.8hassmoothlycarriedout168-htrialoperationinMarchthisyear.Theprojectofthe200-MWcoal-firedunitstartedtoconstructinSeptember2003,takingeighteenmonthscompletingconstructionandcommission.Thedesulphurizationsystemhasusedalimestone-gypsumwetdesulphurizationprocessandreachedadesulphurizationefficencyofover95%.
