摘要
Coppercoatingwasdepositedonthesurfaceofaluminumboratewhiskerbyanelectrolessplatingmethod.Thismethodwasusedtomodifytheinterfacialpropertyofsqueeze-castingaluminumboratewhiskerreinforced6061Almatrixcomposite.Interfaceobservationindicatesthatthespinelreaction(MgAl2O4)ishinderedbythecoppercoating,andthedifferenceininterfacialreactiondegreeaffectsthetensilepropertyandagingbehaviorofthecomposite.Forthecompositewithlessspinelreaction(MgAl2O4),itspeak-agingprocessarepostponedduetolessdepletionofmagnesium.Onthefracturesurfaceofcopper-coatedcompositedimplesandfracturesofwhiskersaremore,butonthefracturesurfaceofuncoatedcompositepull-outofwhiskersaremorethanthatonthecoatedone.Inuncoatedcompositethefracturegenerallyoriginatesfromthenear-interface-region.
