摘要 MainstreamlineissignificantfortheYellowRiversituationforecastingandfloodcontrol.Aneffectivestatisticalfeatureextractionmethodisproposedinthispaper.Inthismethod,abetween-classscatteringmatrixbasedprojectionalgorithmisperformedtomaximizebetween-classdifferences,obtainingeffectivecomponentforclassification;thenhigh-orderstatisticsareutilizedasthefeaturestodescribethemainstreamlineintheprincipalcomponentobtained.Experimentsareperformedtoverifytheapplicabilityofthealgorithm.TheresultsbothonsynthesizedandrealscenesindicatethatthisapproachcouldextractthemainstreamlineoftheYellowRiverautomatically,andhasahighprecisioninmainstreamlinedetection.
