摘要
EffectofplasmacoronadischargesonthepH,wholecelllipidsandDNAofbacteriaisinvestigated.Resultsshowedanincreaseintheaciditylevelsofwaterduetoplasmareactivespecieswhich,however,werenotresponsibleforbacterialcelldeath.Nochangesinthewholecelllipidcontentswereobserved,whileDNAafterplasmatreatmentshoweddeteriorationoftheamplifiedsequences,indicatingthepossibleoccurrenceofDNAdegradation.Inconclusion,reactivespeciesproducedbyplasmadischargesaffectsDNA,possiblycontributingtocelldeath.
