简介:Theoveralllevelofhealthliteracy(HL)inChinain2013stoodat9.48%,contrastingtherurallevelof6.92%withtheurbanlevelof13.80%.ThelevelofHLinEasternChinawas12.81%,whileitwas6.93%inWestChinaand7.10%inCentralChinaRegion.ThelevelofHLforfemalewas9.73%,higherthanthemalelevelof9.23%.Inaddition,theHLratesofhealthknowledgeandconcept,healthskills,andhealthlife-styleandbehaviorswas20.42%,12.47%and10.62%respectively.TheHLratesofchronicdiseasesprevention,infectiousdiseasesprevention,basicmedicalcare,afetyandfirstaid,scientifichealthconcept,andhealthinformationwasrespectively11.59%,17.12%,8.30%,43.53%,32.12%and18.46%.TheresultssuggestthatthelevelofhealthliteracyofChineseurbanandruralresidentsislow,butstilldifferssubstantiallyacrossdifferentareasandsub-populations.
简介:Physicalliteracy(PL),asembodiedwithinphysicaleducation(PE),hasbeenvauntedashavingincreasingimportanceasadispositionforstudentsofallabilitiestoestablishlifelongadherencetophysicalactivity.Thepurposeofthispaperwastoprovideadiscussionofhowthepedagogicalfeaturesofacontemporarypedagogicalmodel,SportEducation(SE),maybeusedtooperationalizePLinPEandwhatempiricalevidencecurrentlyexiststovalidatethisclaim.SubstantialempiricalevidenceexiststhattheattributesassociatedwiththedevelopmentofPL(Whitehead,2010)canbeoperationalizedinPEwiththeeffectiveimplementationofthemodel.SEhasdistinctpedagogicalfeatureswhichpositivelycontributetomanyofthedimensionsofPLandcanfurtheranindividuals'journeytowardsgreaterPLandhavinganembodiedselfwithinPE.Thatstated,thereremainsconcernthatthecontextforthisembodimentremainstoonarrowtobeviewedasapanaceaforthedevelopmentoflifelongphysicalactivity.SEmustbedevelopedasaconnectivespecialismifthesePLattributesaretotransformthemotivationandconfidenceforindividualstocapitalizeontheirinnatephysicalpotentialandmakeamoresignificantcontributiontothequalityoflife.Copyrightó2015,ShanghaiUniversityofSport.ProductionandhostingbyElsevierB.V.Allrightsreserved.
