摘要
Thispaperproposesaconstitutivelawandamethodforcharacterizinghighlypreloadedviscoelasticmaterialssubjectedtolinear(small-amplitude)vibrations.Amultiplicativenon-separablevariableslawhasbeensuggestedtomodelthebehaviorthatdependsonbothstretchandtime/frequency.Thisapproachallowssplittingtheintricatecombinedtestperformedsimultaneouslyonbothstretchandfrequency,generallyinalimitedexperimentaldomainupto100Hz,intotwoindependenttests.Thus,ononehand,thedynamiccomplexmodulusdependentonfrequencyaloneisevaluatedonthebasisofvibrationtestsinalargeexperimentaldomainupto100kHz.Ontheotherhand,energeticparametersaredeterminedfromaquasi-statichyperelastictensiletest.Thecomplexmodulus,dependentonbothstretchandfrequency,isthendeducedfromtheresultsacquiredfromuncoupledinvestigations.Thisworkshowsthat,inextension,theelasticmodulusincreaseswithincreasingstretch,andthelossfactordecreaseswithincreasingstretch;while,incompression,aroundthematerialundeformedstate,themodulusincreasesasthestretchincreasestillacertainvalueofcompressionstretch(upturnpointdependingonmaterialcharacteristics),andthenthemodulusdecreasesasthestretchincreases.Globally,preloadrigidifiesmaterialsbutreducestheirdampingproperty.Theseresultscloselymatchawell-knownobservationinsolidmechanics.
