WeconsiderthenumericalsolutionfortheHelmholtzequationinR~2withmixedboundaryconditions.Thesolvabilityofthismixedboundaryvalueproblemisestab-lishedbytheboundaryintegralequationmethod.BasedontheGreenformula,weexpressthesolutionintermsoftheboundarydata.Thekeytothenumericalreal-izationofthismethodisthecomputationofweaklysingularintegrals.Numericalperformancesshowthevalidityandfeasibilityofourmethod.Thenumericalschemesproposedinthispaperhavebeenappliedintherealizationofprobemethodforinversescatteringproblems.
