  • 简介:TheTheGreat-WestDykewithalengthof6.7km,thelargestseawallinChina,wascompletedinJune,1994.Thispaperintroducesstructureoptionsofnibblemoundseawallonsoftfoundationandanewtypeofarmourblock-hexagonmultiholeblock(HMB)andanewmethodoftreatmentforsoftfoundationbyusingunderwaterexplosion.ConstructionpracticeofsomeprojectsinChinashowsthatbyusingthismethodgoodeffectoftreatmentandmarkedeconomicbenefitcanbeachievedbyusingthismethod.

  • 简介:Onthebasisofdataofdriftingbottles'tracksandthecurrentmeasuredinanchoredstations,aswellastemperatureandsalinityobservedincruiseinvestigationsandcoastalstations,ADCPcurrentdataandAVHRRsurfaceseatemperature(SST)dataonthewesterncoastofGuangdong,syntheticresultsofanalysisshowedthatthecoastalcurrentsinthewestofthemouthoftheZhujiangRiverweremainlywestwardinsummer,whichconstitutedthenorthbranchofcyclonicgyreintheeastoftheQiongzhouStraits.PartofitswaterflowedwestwardintotheBeibuGulfthroughtheQiongzhouStraits.ThecoastalcurrentpatternwasnotidenticalwiththetraditionalcurrentsystemwhichflowedwestwardintheQiongzhouStraitsinwinterandeastwardinsummer.Thesummertime'scoastalcurrentwasalwayswestward,maybetemporarilyturningnortheastonlywhenthesouthwestwindwasstrong.TheimportantcharacteristicsofcoastalcurrentonthewesterncoastofGuangdong,intheQiongzhouStraitsandinthenorthoftheBeibuGulfwereanalyzedandtheirmechanismsalsowereexplained.

  • 简介:Byuseofashoreline-changenumericalmodel(GENESIS)basedonone-linetheory,apreliminarymodelingstudyonshorelinechangescausedbyabeachnourishmentprojectinBeidaihe,China,ispresentedinthispaper.Firstly,theGENESISmodelisverifiedandmodelsensitivitytothemajorparameterchangesisdiscussedbysimulatingahydraulicmodeltest.Thebeachnourishmentproject,afterthattheshorelinechangeiskeptbeingmonitored,isasmall-scaleemergencyonecarriedouttousetwobathingplacesonthewestbeachinthesummer,2008.InthispapertheshorelinechangescausedbythebeachnourishmentprojectaremodeledbytheGENESISmodel,andthecomputedresultsfitwellwiththemeasuredshorelines.Withthesamemodelandparameters,along-termperformanceoftheprojectispredicted,andtheresultshowsthatthebathingplacesonlycanbesuitableforbathingin2to3yearswithoutsubsequencenourishmentproject.Therefore,itisproposedtonourishthebeachesintimetokeeptheservicelifeofthebeachinrecentyearsandcarryoutthebeachnourishmentprojectforthewholewestbeachassoonaspossible.更多还原

  • 简介:Edgedetectionenablesidentificationofgeomorphologicunitboundariesandthusassistswithgeomorphicalmapping.Inthispaper,anintelligentedgeidentificationmethodisproposedandimageprocessingtechniquesareappliedtomulti-beambathymetrydata.Toaccomplishthis,acolorimageisgeneratedbythebathymetry,andaweightedmethodisusedtoconvertthecolorimagetoagrayimage.Asthequalityoftheimagehasasignificantinfluenceonedgedetection,differentfiltermethodsareappliedtothegrayimageforde-noising.Thepeaksignal-to-noiseratioandmeansquareerrorarecalculatedtoevaluatewhichfiltermethodismostappropriatefordepthimagefilteringandtheedgeissubsequentlydetectedusinganimagebinarizationmethod.Traditionalimagebinarizationmethodscannotmanagethecomplicatedunevenseafloor,andthereforeabinarizationmethodisproposedthatisbasedonthedifferencebetweenimagepixelvalues;theappropriatethresholdforimagebinarizationisestimatedaccordingtotheprobabilitydistributionofpixelvaluedifferencesbetweentwoadjacentpixelsinhorizontalandverticaldirections,respectively.Finally,aneight-neighborhoodframeisadoptedtothinthebinaryimage,connecttheintermittentedge,andimplementcontourextraction.Experimentalresultsshowthatthemethoddescribedherecanrecognizethemainboundariesofgeomorphologicunits.Inaddition,theproposedautomaticedgeidentificationmethodavoidsuseofsubjectivejudgment,andreducestimeandlaborcosts.
