  • 简介:Niobium,asthemosteffectivesecond-phaseformingelement,wasaddedintheFe-Cr13-C-Nhard-facingalloytogetcarbonitrideprecipitates.Morphologyandcompositionofcarbonitrideinthehardfacingalloywerestudiedbyopticalmicroscopy,scanningelectronmicroscopy,andelectronprobemicroanalyzer.Thether-modynamicsandtheeffectonthematrixoftheformationofcarbonitridewerealsodiscussed.ItwasfoundthatniobiumcarbonitridesarecomplexNb(C,N)precipitatedistributedongrainboundaryandmatrixofthehardfacingalloy.Underas-weldedcondition,primarycarbonitrideparticleswerereadilyprecipitatedfromthehardfacingalloywithlargesizeandmorphologyastheywereformedalreadyduringsolidification.Underheattreatmentcondition,alargenumberofsecondarycarbonitridescanpre-cipitateoutwithveryfinesizeandmakeagreatsecondaryhardeningeffectonthematrix.Asaresult,additionofniobiuminthehardfacingalloycanpreventtheformationofchromium-richphaseongrainboundariesandinter-granularchromiumdepletion.

  • 简介:Inthisstudy,adoptinguniformdesignmethodestablishedamathematicalmodeltopreparemulti-elementactiveflux.GHA\69superalloyplateswereweldedbytheNd:YAGlaserequipmentwiththepreparedactiveflux.Theresultsshowallkindsoffluxesincreasethedepthtowidthratioandthemulti-componentsystemsaremoresignificant.Thelargestincrementofthewelddepthtowidthratiois159%,obtainedbyusingoftheFI2seriesflux.Itisprovedthatbyusingoftheactivefluxtoincreasethedepthtowidthratioofmicrolaserweldingisfeasible.

  • 简介:Theeffectsofisothermalholdingprocessonthemicrostructureevolutionofsemi-solid7075strengthaluminumalloyproducedbytherecrystallisationandpartialremelting(RAP)processwereinvestigated.Tensilemechanicalpropertiesofas-receivedandthixoformedalloysatroomtemperaturewereexamined.Theresultsshowthatthemicrostructureofas-receivedalloyexhibitsremarkableorientationalongthedeformationdirection.Withtheincreaseofisothermalholdingtime,thesolidparticlegrainsizecontinuouslyincreasesandthedegreeofspheroidizationalsoimproves.Coalescencemechanismisdominantwhenreheatedat595°CandOstwaldripeningmechanismisdominantwhenreheatedat615°Cinthesemi-solidstate.Alowercoarseningrateisobservedfor615°C(coarseningrateK=391μm3s-1)comparedwiththecoarseningratefor595°C(coarseningrateK=501μm3s-1).TheRAP7075aluminumalloycanbesuccessfullythixoformedandthefillingofcomponentsisgoodafterthixoforming.Thethixoformedcomponentsexhibitfavoritemechanicalproperties.

  • 简介:Thesegregationanddiffusionofboronduringheattreatmentswerestudied.Theinfluenceofboroncontents,agingtimeandappliedstressonFeMo2B2formationwasalsostudied.Finally,theeffectsofboroncontentsandFeMo2B2formationonthehightemperaturestrengthwerestudied.Boronatomsweresegregatedtoprioraustenitegrainboundaryduringnormalizingtreatment.Andtheseboronatomswereslowlydiffusedintothegraininteriorduringtemperingandagingat700℃.TheFeMo2B2phasewasonlyformedafter1,000hagingat700℃inalloycontaining196ppmboron.TheformationofFeMo2B2phaseisacceleratedbytheappliedstress.ItwasexpectedthattheformationofFeMo2B2iscloselyrelatedtotheredistributionofboronatoms.Thetensilestrengthsat700℃areincreasedwiththeincreaseofboroncontents.However,theformationofFeMo2B2phaseresultsinlowertensilestrength.

  • 简介:TheeffectsoftheintroductionofCetoLa_(1-x)Ce_xFe_(11.5)Si_(1.5)alloyson1:13phaseformationmechanism,thefirst-ordermagneticphasetransitionstrengtheningcharacteristics,andmagnetocaloricpropertywerestudied,respectively.Theresultsshowthattheformationmechanismsof1:13andLaFeSiphasesinLa_(1-x)Ce_xFe_(11.5)Si_(1.5)alloysarethesameasthoseofCe_2Fe_(17)andCeFe_2phasesinCe–Febinarysystem,respectively.ThesubstitutionofCein1:13phasewhichislimitedcanmakethefirst-ordermagneticphasetransitioncharacteristicsstrengthen,whichcanmakethermalandmagnetichysteresisincrease,thetemperatureintervaloftemperatureinducedphasetransitiondecrease,andthecriticalmagneticfieldoffield-inducedmagneticphasetransition(HC)increase,respectively.Owingtothelatticeshrinkof1:13phasewiththeincreaseinCecontent,theCurietemperatures(TC)showalineardecrease.Themaximumchangeinmagneticentropygraduallyincreasesduetothedecreaseintemperatureintervaloftemperature-inducedphasetransition,buttherelativecoolingcapacitiesareallabout80Jákg-1atmagneticfieldof2T.
