简介:ThispaperpresentsthebehavioranalysisofmodularmultilevelconverterunderDCpole-to-poleshort-circuitfault,whichisanimportantissueinfaultmanagement,electricalsystemdesignandMMCbasedpowersystemprotectionandcontrol.Firstly,thetransientbehaviorisanalyzedandtheconductionoverlappingangleγisdefined.Secondly,sevenpossibleshort-circuitcurrentpathsinducedbydifferentγvaluesareidentified,andthecorrespondingengineeringshort-circuitcurrentcalculationmethodsforbothACandDCsidesareproposed.Andthen,theinfluencesofimpedancedistributionfactorkandequivalentshort-circuitresistanceRSConshort-circuitcurrentsareelaborated.Finally,casestudyisusedtoverifytheeffectivenessoftheproposedanalysismethods.
