A2m~3isothermalcloudchambermainlyforicenucleationresearchisdescribedinthispaper.Itsstructure,attachedinstrumentsandexperimentalproceduresarealsopresented.TheexperimentsofdeterminingtheicenucleieffectivenessfortheAgl-containingaerosolsproducedbythreeformulationshavebeenconductedandtheresultshavebeencomparedwiththoseoftheCSU960-literisothermalcloudchamber.Allexperimentalresultsshowthatthechamberhasadvantagesofstableperformanceandreproducibility.Itwouldbeexpectedtobecomeausefulexperimentalfacilityforicenucleationresearch.
