Adaptiveoptics(AO)systemsgreatlyimprovetheresolutionofretinalimaginginstrumentsbyactivelycorrectingocularaberrations.InthisLetter,closed-loopcorrectionaswellasocularaberrationcompensationofa62-elementsiliconunimorphdeformablemirror(DM)drivenbyonlypositivevoltageisperformed.Theexperimentalresultsshowthattheroot-meansquare(RMS)wavefrontoftheinitialmirrorsurfaceisreducedto0.011μminaclosed-loopAOsystem.TheDMreproducesZernikeshapesfromthethirdto35thmodeaccurately.Thesimulatedcompensationof200ocularwavefrontsshowsthattheaverageRMSvalueaftercorrectionisreducedto0.017μm.
