Multi-directionalirregularwavesaresimulatedonthebasisofthegivendirectionalspectrumusingadoublesummationmodel,asingledirectionperfrequencymodelandasinglesummationmodel.Theirresultsarecompared.Itisshownthatthesingledirectionperfrequencymodelproposedinthispapercangeneratearealisticwavefield.Theeffectsofthemodelparametersonthesimulatedresultsarealsostudiedinthispaperandcorrespondingsuggestionsaregiven.
