Theflowfieldinacoldmodelof2500t/dfive-stagecyclonepreheaterandprecalcinersystemwasnumericallysimulated.Renaultstressmodel(RSM)turbulentmodelwasadoptedtosimulatetheflowfield,andahybridmeshschemewasselectedtogeneratecalculationmesh.Withthefirstorderupwinddifference,finite-volumemethodwasusedtoconvertturbulentequationsintodifferenceequationspressure-velocitycouplingwhichweresolvedbytheclassicsimplealgorithm,andduringthecourseofnumericalsolution,meshself-adaptingtechnologywasapplied.Themainflowfieldstructuresofthewholesystemandeachpartofthecoldmodelwerestudiedbyanalyzingthesimulationresults.
