Asearlyasinthebeginningofthe1980's,theChineseAssociationforInternationalUnderstanding(CAFIU)startedexchangeswiththeFriendrichEbertStiftung(FES).SinceFESsetupitsBeijingofficein1987,fruitfulcooperationhasbeenconductedbetweenFESandCAFIU,andotherrelevantpartiesoftheChineseside.Overtheyears,FEShasmadepositiveeffortsandgreatcontributionsfordeepeninganddevelopingunderstandingandfriendshipbetweentheChinesepeopleandtheGermanpeople,andforpromotingtherelationsbetweenthetwocountriesandtwoparties,whichwehighlyappreciate.
