  • 简介:-Tocharacterizetheuncertaintyandfuzzinessinoffshorestructuralinspection,probabilityofdetection(POD)mustbedetermined.ThispaperpresentstheexpressionsforthePODoffourdifferentdamageformsmainlyexistinginoffshorestructures.Thefuzzy-settheoryisappliedtoestimatehumanerrorsthroughthedefinitionofinspectionquality.Expressionsofinspectionqualityareachieved.Toverifythevalidityandcorrectnessoftheexpressions,thedatafromanoffshoreplatformfieldinspectionofevaluationresultsofhumanerrorsaffectinginspectionqualityareusedtoestimatetheparametersofthePOD.TheresultsshowthatthepresentmodelscanprovidebasisforfurtherstudyofofTshorestructuralinspectionreliability.

  • 简介:Duringthedesignandconstructionofthedeepwateroffshorebasin,itscurrentgenerationsystemisconsideredtobeoneofthekeytechnologies.Inthisarticle,thestate-of-the-artdeepwateroffshorebasinatShanghaiJiaotongUniversitywasexaminedasacasestudy.Different3-Dnumericalmodelsofthecurrentgenerationsystemweredevelopedandcalculated.Theuniformityofflowfieldinthebasin,suchashorizontalandverticalcurrentvelocityprofiles,werecalculatedindetail.Besides,a1:10scaledmodeltestwasalsocarriedout.Thecurrentvelocitiesatdifferentlocationsinthebasinweremeasuredandcomparedwiththecalculatedresults.Itisconcludedthatsatisfactoryagreementcanberesultedbetweenthenumericalsimulationandmodeltest.Inaddition,itissuggestedthattransitionsectionsandturningvanesneedtobesetininflowandoutflowculvertstoimprovetheuniformityofflowfieldinthebasin.Andthehydraulicperformanceofthedeepwatercurrentgenerationsystemcanmeettherequirementsofmodeltestsindeepwater.

  • 简介:Adesignmethodofreinforcedconcrete(R.C.)offshoreplatformswithnonlinearfiniteelementanalysisisproposed.Accordingtothemethod,acomputerprogramisdeveloped.Inthisprogramnonlinearconstitutiverelationshipsandstrengthcriteriaofconcreteandsteelbarsareincluded,andtheprogressivecrackingandcrushingoftheconcretearetakenintoaccount.Basedonthestressdistributionobtainedbythenonlinearfiniteelementanalysis,theamountofreinforcementinthecontrolsectionscanbecomputedandadjustedautomaticallybytheprogramtosatisfytherequirementofthedesign.Theamountofreinforcementrequiredinthecontrolsections,whichareobtainedwiththenonlinearfiniteelementanalysis,isagreeabletothatobtainedintheexperiment.ThisshowsthatthedesignmethodofR.C.offshoreplatformwiththenonlinearfiniteelementmethodproposedbytheauthorsisreliableforpracticaluse.
