简介:Thedye-dopedsilicananoparticlescanbeusedasnanobiosensorsthatareabletorecognizeanddetectspecificDNAsequence.Inthispaper,sphericalnanosizedluminol/SiO2compositeparticleshavebeensynthesizedwithreversemicellsviahydrolysisoftetraethylorthosilicate(TEOS)inthemicroemulsion.ThenanoparticlesweremodifiedwithchitosanandusedtolabelDNA,formingtheDNAprobewhichwasusedtohybridizewithtargetDNAimmobilizedonaPPymodifiedPtelectrode.Thehybridizationeventswereevaluatedbyelectrogeneratedchemiluminescence(ECL)measurementsandonlythecomplementarysequencecouldformadouble-strandedDNA(dsDNA)withDNAprobeandgivestrongECLsignals.Athreebasemismatchsequenceandanon-complementarysequencehadalmostnegligibleresponses.Duetothelargenumberofluminolmoleculesinsidesilicananoparticles,theassayallowsdetectionatlevelsaslowas2.0×10^-12mol/LofthetargetDNA.TheintensityofECLwaslinearlyrelatedtotheconcentrationofthecomplementarysequenceintherangeof5.0×10^-12—1.0×10^-9mol/L.
简介:ToimprovethewatertreeresistanceofPE,linearlow-densitypolyethylene(LLDPE)wascompoundedwithsodiumacrylate(NaAA)forinsitupolymerization,inwhichNaAAwasformedthroughtheneutralizationofacrylicacid(AA)withsodiumhydroxide(NaOH)beforeaddingdicumylperoxide(DCP)toinitiatetheinsitugraftpolymerizationandhomopolymerization.AseriesofLLDPE/NaAAcompoundswereinvestigatedfortheirwaterabsorptionratio(WAR)measurement,watertreeing,mechanicalanddielectricproperties.TheresultsstronglysuggestthatNaAAcanimprovethewatertreeresistanceofLLDPE.Inaddition,theLLDPE/NaAAcompoundspossesssatisfactorymechanicalpropertiesanddielectricproperties.CharacterizationofLLDPE/NaAAcompoundsbyusingFouriertransforminfraredspectrometry(FTIR)suggeststhattheneutralizationandpolymerizationreactioncouldbeachievedeffectively.UsingadequateDCPcontentisthekeyfactorforcontrollingthepolymerizationofNaAAwithpreciseconversionratio.

简介:Cellulose,themostabundantorganicpolymeronEarth,isasustainablesourceofcarbontouseasanegativeelectrodeforsodiumionbatteries.Here,hardcarbons(HC)preparedbycellulosepyrolysiswereinvestigatedwithvaryingpyrolysistemperaturefrom700°Cto1600°C.CharacterisationmethodssuchasSmallAngleX-rayScattering(SAXS)measurementsandN2adsorptionwereperformedtoanalyseporositydifferencesbetweenthesamples.Thegraphenesheetarrangementswereobservedbytransmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM):anorderingofthegraphenesheetsisobservedattemperaturesabove1150°Candsmallcrystallinedomainsappearover1400°C.Asthegraphenesheetsstarttoalign,theBETsurfaceareadecreasesandthemicroporesizeincreases.Tocorrelatehardcarbonstructuresandelectrochemicalperformances,differenttestsinNa//HCcellswith1MNaPF6ethylenecarbonate/dimethylcarbonate(EC/DMC)wereperformed.Samplespyrolysedfrom1300°Cto1600°Cshoweda300mAh/greversiblecapacityatC/10rate(whereC=372mA/g)withanexcellentstabilityincyclingandaverygoodinitialCoulombicefficiencyofupto84%.Furthermore,hardcarbonsshowedanexcellentratecapabilitywheresodiumextractionratevariesfromC/10to5C.At5Cmorethan80%ofreversiblecapacityremainsstableforhardcarbonssynthesizedfrom1000°Cto1600°C.
